The American Lung Association identified a need for a program that educated lung cancer patients while also providing comfort and support. Recognizing that a cancer diagnosis is overwhelming, the Lung Association, in concert with the Lung Cancer Patient Advisory Group, developed the Lung Cancer Courage Kit program to meet cancer patients where they are, providing resources needed during a stressful time. Each FREE kit contains a scientifically reviewed, patient-friendly, educational booklet.
